Concept

Polynesians are water people. There is a strong connection between them and the ocean. They are voyagers and inspired by endless spaces and absolute freedom, which calling them to go into the journey. They admire horizons, so their inspiration was the inspiration for design.

Basic principle of the concept design is a triangle of connecting buildings. It reflects the outlines Polynesian islands on a geographical map world forming a triangle.

Floor Plan concept is to incorporate the triangle shape building as a connection building between two already existing buildings. It reflects the triangle outlines of the Polynesian islands on a geographical map.

Interactive Design

The moon plays a very important role in the lives of the Polynesians. Each
lunar phase had a specific name in Hawaiian, and were associated with
kapus as well as times for planting, fishing and gathering.

Inside of the moon there is a night sky to show how Polynesian voyagers were navigating at night.

Bay Café Design

The awning above the café, like a wave rolling onto the shore, will shelter you from the heat in its coolness, where you can enjoy Polynesian cuisine and signature drinks.
